Lat Krabang is one of the 50
districts (khet) of Bangkok.
The district is located on the southeast side of Bangkok and is bordered by Samut Prakan and
Chachoengsao provinces.
Lat Krabang is almost 124 km² in size and it houses more than 175,000 people.
Suvarnabhumi Airport is adjacent to
Lat Krabang.
Pia was born in Lat Krabang, much of her family still lives there.
When we are in Bangkok we stay most of the time in Lat Krabang, and it has always been that
way.
What strikes us every time, is how fast Lat Krabang is growing in the area surrounding the
airport.
